Pole Vaulter William Millard (U 18)

For the second year in a row William won the BC High School Championships (Senior) pole vault competition. This was followed by an amazing season of great results.

• Nike Outdoor Nationals (high school) at Hayward Field in Eugene Oregon – 6th in

emerging elite division

• Victoria Track Classic (Athletics Canada National Tour event) – 2nd in Open Category

Personal Best of 4.6m

• BC Athletics Jamboree Championships (U20) – 1st

• Western Canada Challenge in Edmonton (U24) – 1st

• Bell Canadian Track and Field Championships in Ottawa (U20) – 5th

• Canada Summer Games in St. John’s Newfoundland (U24) – 3rd

William attended the last 3 events as a member of Team BC
