POLE VAULTER WILLIAM MILLARD IS FLYING HIGH

Pole Vaulter William Millard (U 18)

For the second year in a row William won the BC High School Championships (Senior) pole vault competition. This was followed by an amazing season of great results.

·       Nike Outdoor Nationals (high school) at Hayward Field in Eugene Oregon – 6th in emerging elite division

·       Victoria Track Classic (Athletics Canada National Tour event) – 2nd in Open Category – Personal Best of 4.6m

·       BC Athletics Jamboree Championships (U20) – 1st

·       Western Canada Challenge in Edmonton (U24) – 1st

·       Bell Canadian Track and Field Championships in Ottawa (U20) – 5th

·       Canada Summer Games in St. John’s Newfoundland (U24) – 3rd

William attended the last 3 events as a member of Team BC
